Study highlights importance of sleep quality in people with epilepsy

The extent to which poor sleep quality and daytime sleepiness affect quality of life in people with epilepsy was highlighted by new data presented at the AES conference.

Researchers from centers in Barcelona, Badajoz, Valladolid, Vigo, Madrid, and Zaragoza, Spain, presented preliminary findings from an ongoing observational, retrospective, multicenter study of the impact of sleep on quality of life and cognitive impairment.
