Spatial memory performance is associated with cortisol levels and behavioral measures in children


  • In children aged 5 to 7 years, associations were found between better spatial memory performance in some tasks and higher cortisol levels, as well as correlations with behavioral measures.

Why this matters

    These findings provide information about development of spatial orientation processing and behavioral and physiological factors, which may provide a basis for detecting pathological differences.
