Long-term follow-up study identifies genetic polymorphism linked to cognitive decline

Specialists have identified a genetic polymorphism that may be important in worsening of cognitive function and progression to Alzheimer’s disease (AD) in patients with subjective cognitive decline (SCD) or mild cognitive impairment (MCI).
